Leave me Alone!

Don’t scold and lecture,

Torment and torture.

Try to fix and mend,

You can’t understand so why pretend,

I need to bleed, can’t you see,

Why won’t you all just let me be?

It’s something I do,

That just doesn’t involve you!

When you look at me

What do you really see?

You notice the scars,

And want me behind iron bars.

But you can’t see, deep down inside,

All I want is someone on my side,

The tears build up but I can’t cry,

It gets so bad; all I want is to die.

Well my first attempt at rhyming poetry, I think I’ll just stick to my usual way of writing.
