It's so much nice to have you there even from a distance.
That way, I won't have to think hard and try to imagine that face
And how your eyes smile whenever you laugh.

It feels so good to talk to you even for just a second.
That way I won't have to close my eyes and pretend I can hear your sweet voice.

But it's so much better to just not see you,
That face,
And that smile.

And to not talk to you
And hear the voice that sends me to sweet reverie everytime I hear it.

For I know that that voice sounds the happiest when I watch you from afar
And see that the one who makes you genuinely smile could only be that someone else with you...
And that someone...
Sadly...
Could never be me.
