Pace

I’m running

Running in a race

My pace is fantastic

I feel like know one can touch me

No, what’s this?

There’s a cord stretched across the road.

If I don’t do something fast I’ll trip!

It’s too late I’m moving to fast.

I can’t avoid it!

Pain shoots up and down my body

My leg is broken.

I lay here helpless

As the other racers pass me.

My pace is off

And I can’t do anything about it.

I was once untouchable

But now I lay here

On the ground weak and vulnerable.

Somebody Special

Everyone needs someone special in their life.

I have that someone

If I’m here

They’re here

If I’m there

Than they will be there

In return

If they are here

Than I will be here

If they are there

Than I am there

I don’t have to walk threw life alone

Neither should you.

The Door (part 2)

The door now lies miles away from me.

I am walking north and the door lies south.

My problems haven’t ended

But there’s always

Darkness before the dawn.
