Crossing a line: Everyone experiences change. In some points, it may rip away all you cherish, leaving you vulnerable and weak. Other times, that which seems to hinder ends up bringing all that you have in a new light. It may enable you to spend time with the one you love to be around, to be near. This overwhelming feeling of fulfilling your desires may cause you to be unable to truly express your emotions. Though no words may verify it, it is easily known that between you, is a bond that few can equal, and none can break. Every hour you spend with them seems to end within a matter of seconds. The time spent apart lasts for eternity. No matter how the time is spent around them, it nourishes your soul, making you feel connected, loved, and for the first time, feeling like there is someone willing to return the love you feel for them. You spend every moment you can around them, or if fate intervenes, you dream of spending time with them. Every touch brings immeasurable joy. You realize that without them, life is dull, boring, pointless. Every spoken sentence stays with you forever. You seem to remember all that is said. Every hug lifts your spirits to uncreated heights. It all seems too good to be true, but you know her heart is engulfed as deeply as yours is. However, what if you are wrong? What if you are looking too much into the actions between you? Could that hug be a window into deeper feelings, or is she just friendly? Are you setting yourself up for failure, or is there actually a special bond between you? Would you rather take a chance at love and risk losing the one you cherish? On the other hand, play it safe, and continue with your current status, always wondering what may have been. You would do anything for her, and you feel she trusts you as well. As you embrace in the farewell hug, is this your chance to reach for all you want, or continue with things as they are? All you ultimately want is her near, her compassion, but most of all her happiness. Your mood reflects off her. No matter how your day has been, seeing her happy, upbeat self makes you forget all your past woes. No matter what happened to you, if you see her upset, everything stops until she is consoled back to happiness. You would give anything to see her smile, have her near, and be her love. You have learned from the past that love must be built from a strong friendship. You feel your strongest friend is she, but are you ready to move to the next level? As you sit together, talking softly, you ramble on, not knowing what is being said. All you can concentrate on is her words, her hair, and her eyes. You have known them long, but tonight is different. You feel as connected as you have ever felt with anyone. You are lost in her beauty, struggling for the words you seek, those certain words that you long to say, but dare not.  Thoughts and dreams swirl through your mind as you pull up to her house. Overwhelmed with feelings of passion and desire, the urge to commit emerges stronger than ever. Time is running out. You know she is too good to be left alone for too long, if there is anything to be said, it must be soon. As her tender hands slip from your nervous grasp, you manage to utter words you never thought you would say. A sickening wave of nausea, worry, and panic sweep over you, leaving you dazed. All of a sudden, her tender hands grasp your shaking palms. You stare deeply into her gorgeous eyes, realizing what you have put in jeopardy. Your mind flashes through all you have been through with her, hoping there will many more of these to come. In her sweet voice, she tells you things that leave a feeling of such desire and joy, they shall never been undone. You embrace for what may be the last time soon, but this single embracing is greater than all the past weeks combined.
