Illusion, A poem by Tweak McFreak

As the illusion appears, I smile with joy

To see the sweet face of that certain boy

Though I try not to think that the vision is real

The pain of this truth can never be healed

I mightily struggle to keep my illusion strong

But it flickers and fades not far too long

I know soon enough it will come back again

Under sunlight, moon light, or sprinkle of rain

I await the return of that illusion of him

My unconditioned love for his never will dim

As long as I have it there's hope in my life

Of that boy that I love to save me from strife

Of that deep-pitted feeling, that feeling of pity

For myself, for that boy will never be with me

So as I gaze into the transparent black lake

The vision of that boy my heart will now take

And weave it with air to make that one boy

And once again, illusion fills me with joy
