A/N: A nice winter poem.  It's snowing quite a lot here, and last week we got a foot!  ^_^  I love the snow!  Unlike most of my other poems, this one isn't depressing.  It's sort of listless, maybe even apathetic, but not depressing.  And it contains references to Christmas songs, how shocking!  Well, maybe it isn't shocking to you if you don't know how much I loathe Christmas.  Anyway, I'll shut up so you can read.

Snow Angels

Maybe we should walk outside
It's only ten below, and you know
It's not so bad when everywhere's covered in
Blankets of snow
Thought we could make things better
But we can't so let's run away
From the reality of everyday
Life is not so bad when your eyes are filled
With white
And dazzling light
From those tiny glass snow crystals
Pick one up and gaze at your reflection
Can you see me in that perfect picture of your life?
It's getting late
But maybe we could have a date
And go out for some chocolate or coffee,
Whatever suits you best
We ought to get some rest
Before our stop in Snowman Town
To visit Parson Brown
Yes, it's a winter wonderland
Today so let's stroll hand in hand
Inside the snow globe of our fragile dream
