AN: uh this is something I had to do for French, I wrote it in English first though and really liked it, I'm normally crap at poetry and this I would consider good for someone of my standards. Um, well the poem was generally about poets but I guess it could be generally about any writer.and so that is it's name:

WRITERS

A blank piece of paper

Will stare them in the face

As they wait for ideas to flow

Their eyes become alert

A hand reaches for a pen

And the sound of scribbling can be heard

Suddenly they'll stop and sigh

With one swift movement

The paper is crumpled and thrown

And they once again

Stare at a blank piece of paper.
