The Princesses' Kin

Prince Davon sat in his seat, beside his father, King David. His mother sat on his father's right. Davon sighed. His father and mother were trying to find a wife for him. But he didn't want a wife, he didn't want to be here, he'd much rather be in his library, reading one of the many romantic scrolls kept there. But he had to sit through this.

A pretty girl with long blonde hair and dark chocolate skin walked in with her nose held high, as if she was queen of the world. Davon rolled his eyes when she winked at him.

"Alright, ladies and princesses!" David said, clapping his hands together cheerfully. "You shall spend the night in our palace, each with her own room. Over the period of a week, we shall determine who would be the best for our son. Goodnight, and sleep well." With that, David, the queen Elan, and Davon walked out, to their rooms.

Davon had to put up with them. All those giggling, chattering girls. It was horrid! The blonde that had winked at him was turning out to be a. well. not very nice. And the other girls were just annoying, bossy, spoiled, and. very pretty. Despite their good looks, he didn't want them. They just. weren't his type.

Then someone new came. It was the blonde's older brother.

Davon sat in his chair in the ballroom, ignoring the girls as usual, as they danced with various members of the court. The princesses' families had been invited, since it was the last night of the judging.

Prince Tome walked in with his sister on his arm. He was very handsome, with short blonde hair, as soft looking as his sister's, bright sky blue eyes and a charming smile. He was smiling and laughing, and caught Davon's eye. Their eyes met, and Davon felt an odd shiver travel down his spine.

Tome walked into the ballroom, with his annoying brat of a sister holding his arm. He laughed at one of her pathetic jokes. She pointed at the prince they were here to see, and Tome looked. Prince Davon was. well, gorgeous was an understatement, with his shoulder-length brown hair tied back in a neat ponytail, his outfit clinging in all the right places, so when he stood up and turned around, you could see just how perfect his rear end was.

He saw prince Davon look at him, and felt his face heat up a little. Davon looked for a little while, then looked away, his face red.

"Oh look, the prince is blushing! He must have been looking at me! Oh, I just know they'll choose me!" Serena, Tome's sister squealed and giggled. Tome rolled his eyes. He knew very well who the beautiful prince was looking at.

Tome smiled at his sister, telling her he was going to speak with the prince. "Oh, sure! Make sure to put in a good word for me!" Tome grinned and walked over to the throne.

Davon stood up, intending to go at least walk around. He was getting bored, and he wanted to keep from looking at Serena's brother. He didn't need to have a sexual reaction to a boy, in the middle of a ball held to find him a wife!

The prince felt eyes on him, and turned to see who was looking at him. It was him! he blushed and turned back around. "Hello." The man said, in a beautiful low voice. Davon smiled his best and looked at him, trying to keep his face from going red, and his erection down. These tight pants don't hide anything! Davon complained in his head.

"H-hello. I'm prince Davon." Davon bowed politely.

"My name is Tome. Pleased to meet you." They stood in awkward silence for a moment, before Tome spoke again. "Would you. like to dance?" Tome held out his hand.

Davon stared, before taking the hand Tome offered him. "Ok."

Tome smiled and pulled Davon to him, placing his hand on Davon's waist. Davon put his hand on Tome's shoulder. "I've never danced with a man before." Davon blushed.

"That's alright. Just follow me." Tome led him around.

People were gasping, and talking. King David, who had been gazing at all the women heard, and looked around. His son wasn't in his seat, so he must be dancing. David felt his heart swell with happiness. If Davon was out of his seat, he was dancing. And that meant he'd found someone. but then the king saw just whom his son had found. It was Tome, the son of one of the lords from a neighboring kingdom! The king stood in an outrage.

Davon jumped and spun around when he heard his father call his name. Oh no, he'd seen them! Davon turned to Tome, who had a terrified expression on his face.

"Davon! What are you doing?" his father asked, in a frighteningly calm voice.

"I. dancing father, what else?" Davon said, regaining his composure.

"With a man? Lord Tome, what are you doing with him? He should be dancing with the women!"

"Sir, I-"

"This is absurd! It's wrong! Get your hands off him now!" Tome was about to obey, but Davon held his hands in place with his own. "I said--"

"You want me to marry someone father?" Davon asked, cutting his father short.

"Of course I do!"

"Well then, I want to marry Lord Tome!" a loud gasp was heard around the room. One of the weak-hearted princesses fainted.

"You can not!"

"Why not?" Davon looked up at Tome, silently beseeching him for help. "Why can't I have him? He's what and who I want."

"He's a man! You are a boy! You are only fifteen, and a foolish child. I will not allow my son to be--"

"Then perhaps I shall not be your son anymore!" another gasp. "These people like gasping, don't they? Anyway, I am your only heir, and lord knows you cant get it up enough to make a replacement!" the gasping again! "So, if I am allowed to marry Tome, if he wishes it, then I shall find a woman to create an heir for myself! But I will have him, and only Tome can say no!"

"Then it is up to him," the queen said. "What do you say, Lord Tome?" she asked. Tome looked startled, then happy. He would have his prince after all.

"I will love Davon forever."

"That's it then." Another gasp.

"And if you people don't stop that accursed gasping." everyone shut up at Davon's command. The queen turned to them, laying a calming hand upon her fuming husband's shoulder.

"Let them marry. It is clear that is what they want." She said softly.

Davon looked up at Tome, kissing him. "I love you," He said. "And I always will. My Tome."

Tome smiled sleepily and pulled the covers up over them. "And I will always love you. You wish me to sing to you, my prince?"

"Would you?" Davon received a kiss as an answer, and snuggled into his husband's chest. "Your voice is so beautiful."

"And yet it matches not the radiance of thine smile."
