There is one more part that follows this, but I didn't write it. I just felt that I should give a bit of credit to Audren's son Beynan, who is part elf, part Man, and part fay; is sixteen at the time of his father's death; and who was accused as Audren was of being evil (this was due to the now-common distrust of those unfortunate to be of mixed blood. He was not evil, but Lador decided he was to be executed in the same manner as his father. Out of sheer desperation, he managed to escape at the last moment and avoid the attempts made to recapture him. He spend the next 29 years of his life wandering around in the Wilds, until he decided to go into the Oldwoods. The Dark Fays found him and one of their arrows took his life. He was 45 years old (young, but he did manage to outlive his father by eight or so years...).
