The rain, pounding down in buckets hitting him vigorously, it looked like the rain wasn't going to let up ever,
and that the world would be flooded, but I knew that it would end, In time. As I proceeded down the trail, I
came across a cabin, it looked as if it had been deserted for years, it seemed as if it could fall apart at
any minute, but it would do as shelter from the raging storm, at least for now. I pushed the door open, it
swung open with a loud squeaking sound. The cabin was dark, with the little light coming from the open doorway
but I managed to find a candle, I light it, the candles wick erupted in flame, lighting up the alien landscape.

"Beautiful weather we have out there, isn't it?" A man says with a sarcastic tone
"Absolutely beautiful" I reply with a smirk on my face
"What brings you here?" he questions
"I'm on a journey, do you live here?, or are you just a passerby, like me?" I retort
"I'm a simple man, trying to maintain a simple existence in a single land, so yes, I own this ram shacked old cabin"
he answers
"well, I'm sorry to intrude then, but may I say until the rain dissipates kind sir?" I inquire
"sure I suppose, make yourself at home, u can sleep over there if you would like" he says with a sigh,
then points to a small cot. I walk over to it with, my feet slow me, they feel as if they weight more
then my whole body, but in time I reached the cot, lay down in the cot and drift into sleep the second
I touched down on the cot.
