(Time takes place a year ago)
Stacy woke up to her alarm clock buzzing.
"What time is it?" mumbled Stacy, still feeling a little groggy, as she hit her alarm clock.
"7:15. I should get up." She replied to herself as she got up.
Stacy hated waking up in the morning no matter how early she would sleep it never seemed to help. Stacy went through her drawers quickly to find something to wear. Finding a black Wet Seal top, she then quickly found a pair of pants to match.
Leaving her house, she began her normal walk to school. It was a warm sunny morning, a typical morning in Hawaii. Stacy was a Junior, and her school was close by where she lived. Walking to school took about 10 minutes for her.
Finally reaching the school, Stacy stepped on campus. And walked to the familiar building her friends hung around. Seeing her bunch of friends Stacy smiled to herself.
"Hey Stace." Replied Cathy.
"Hey Cathy." Said Stacy as she smiled at her friend. Before she was able to ask Cathy anything, Rochelle, another of Stacy's friends, came up to Cathy to and pulled her away.
Shaking her head slightly Stacy turned to find someone to talk to. Their group of friends stood around talking. Suddenly her good friend, Allie appeared in front of her.
"Hey Stace." She replied smiling.
"Hey Allie." Smiled Stacy as she greeted her friend since kindergarten.
"Kind of late huh?" Joked Allie as she knew Stacy's hard time in waking up early.
Stacy opened her mouth to reply but the bell cut her off. "Got to go sis. I got math next, can't be late." She replied instead and waved bye to her friend.
Looking for Cathy in the crowd of her friends, she found her standing on the sidewalk ready to walk to their math class together. Stacy took a step forward and sighed, 'I hope today is a good day.' She thought as she reached her friend.
The day had gone by and it was now her 3rd period, Physics. Stacy loved Physics, she wasn't any good at it but hey the teacher was super cool, and so basically it was a cruise class. Besides, almost more than half the class consisted of her friends. Walking in she smiled at her friends who were already seated.
Taking her usual seat behind Marcus, she sat quietly waiting for her class to start. Mr. Jay stood up and greeted the class.
"So today, you will be doing your reviews. I have a headache so just work on your reviews for the chapter." Said Mr. Jay as he took his seat.
The class turned to their friends and began to talk to one another like usual.
"So Stace. Ready for Junior Prom?" asked Marcus as he turned around. (**Yes we have a Junior Prom here in Hawaii**)
Stacy made a face. "No, still haven't found a date." She replied complaining.
"Why don't you just bring Adam?" asked Kristen, one of Stacy's good friends, who just took a seat next to Stacy, quickly joining the conversation.
"I don't Kris. He does have his senior prom. Besides, we haven't been really talking, I don't know ." replied Stacy letting her voice trail off. She sighed softly to herself. 'Adam' she thought. 'If only things were better. If things didn't change.'
Marcus had seemed to turn his attention to another person, the two turned to face one another erasing his exit from their minds so they could talk more personal.
"Oh I see." Whispered Kristen understanding what Stacy had meant.
"What about you Kris? Who you going with?" Stacy asked changing the subject, not really wanting to go into it.
"Oh, I'm going with Hector." Replied Kristen. "It was like a promise kind of thing." As she waved her hands around.
"Oh yah I forgot." Said Stacy. Hector was one of their good friends, and Kristen and Hector promised to go to Junior Prom together as friends.
"Hey Kris." Yelled a voice from across the room.
Kristen turned around to see Desiree sitting down waving for Kristen to come over. "I'll be back." Kristen replied, quickly standing up.
Stacy nodded and turned her attention the door that was right in front of her. Marcus was now talking to people in the back of the room, so she could now see the bright sun coming through the door.
'Who am I suppose to go to prom with?' she thought, as she stared off at the people who were cutting class across the street at the park. 'Stupid kids.' She thought wondering who would ever cut school across the street. Her thoughts were disrupted when she felt a tap on her shoulder.
Turning around she faced her friend Ryan. Ryan was one of guys that hung around her and her friends for the past couple years. It was only this year through their physics class she had gotten to really know him.
"Yah?" she replied as she faced Ryan. His hair was shaved and he wore a jacket he would wear quite often.
Ryan sat there behind her smiling. "So you don't know who your going with to prom?" he asked as he leaned toward her.
She knew he must have been listening, and was thinking of saying so but shook off the thought. "Yah." She replied. "How about you?"
"Oh I don't know. I asked my girlfriend to go with me, but she doesn't know if she can. Her parents are strict that's why." Ryan said.
"I didn't know you had a girlfriend." Stacy commented, as she ran her hand through her hair.
"Oh yah just recently, she goes to another school." Replied Ryan.
"I see I see. Well maybe your girlfriend won't be able to go and we can end up going together." Stacy replied joking, as she laughed pushing his shoulder.
"Haha, maybe." Ryan replied. "That would be fun."
Stacy laughed as she winked at her friend. She smiled as she thought 'Life would be so much easier if that was possible.'
The two friends' laughter stopped as Kristen came back, taking the seat next to Stacy once again.
"Peaches and Cream." Joked Ryan as Kristen sat next to Stacy. It was a name he had given them in the beginning of the year.
Kristen and Stacy laughed and they began to talk about other things besides prom. Before Stacy knew it the bell for class ended, and the group of friends stood up as they packed their things.
Kristen and Stacy quickly walked out of class, waiting patiently for their friends, as they stood looking over the railing.
"Damn, I need to find a date soon. Bids started already." Commented Stacy, scanning to parking lot below them.
"Yah Stace, you should find it soon." Replied Kristen as she turned to walk down the hall, realizing their friends had come out of class.
'Err this sucks. Maybe I should go ask Cathy to hook me up with the "cute boy" . or maybe not.' she thought as they turned the corner to walk down the stairs. "Hmm, hopefully." She mumbled. But Kristen was too busy chatting with Marcus and probably have not heard her.
**So this is the end for this chapter. The chapters will be short because I'll only be mentioning important things that happened, and I'll be updated often. PLEASE REVIEW! If you think I should continue or if you think I shouldn't!**
