Endlessly - Chapter 2

**correction to chapter 1. all names were changed**

(A new day)

Stacy sat in math class, running her hand through her medium length black hair. She smiled to herself, which caused the dimple she had to show; as she thought of the time one of her friends commented she always had nice hair.

Snapping into the reality she looked at the overhead projector, and quickly jotted down the last bit of the notes her math teacher had just written. Placing her notes into her binder, she glanced at the clock. 10 minutes until the bell will ring, giving her time to relax.

But just as she was about to close her eyes, her relaxation was quickly cut off when she heard Cathy's voice.

"Stace." She replied, Cathy sat right next to Stacy in math.

"Yah?" replied Stacy, as she glance to the right of her where Cathy sat.

"Did bid sales go out yet?" She asked, knowing that Stacy was in Council.

"Yah, just two days ago. It'll be done the following week after next week." Stacy answered as she twirled the pencil she held in her hand.

"Ok." Smiled Cathy as she fixed her folder, then placing it into her bag.

"Are you bringing John?" asked Stacy, as she turned to face Cathy. John was Cathy's boyfriend for almost a year already; he attended a school not far away from theirs.

"No." Cathy simply said as she held her bag in front of her.

"Why not?" asked Stacy, wondering why Cathy wouldn't want to go with him. He was a great guy actually, although he went to another school he was pretty cool with all their friends.

"Cause, I'm already going to his prom." She answered. "I might bring AJ though, remember him from before? The guy I thought was super cute from John's school?" Cathy said quickly after giggling.

"Yah. I remember, that's cool." Laughed Stacy.

Shortly after the bell had rung, announcing the end of class. Stacy and Claire stood up and walked outside of their class. It was now recess.

"I hate walking down after math. There's so much people and we're on the 3rd floor." Grumbled Cathy as they turned the hall that lead to the stairs.

Stacy laughed in agreement. "Yah, its like a stampede."

"So who you going with Stace?" asked Claire as they began to head down the stairs.

"I don't know yet Cathy, besides I thought you were going to hook me up with the 'cute boy' .." Joked Stacy.

"Oh yah!" exclaimed Cathy, remembering their joke. "Hey, look." She laughed as she pointed at a boy who walked down the stairs slightly in front of them. "There he is."

Stacy laughed as she saw the 'cute boy'. 'The cute boy she thought, as she walked down the stairs. It had been the first day of school of their Junior year. They had been walking down the stairs like they were doing at the very moment. And Cathy exclaimed whom she thought Stacy matched well with a guy named Arick, he was also a junior a cute quiet Filipino boy. She described them as perfect together because Stacy was a short cute Filipino girl. Cathy then told Stacy how Arick and her use to be best friends in elementary. Stacy laughed and agreed that Arick was a cute guy, then joking how Cathy must hook them up for prom. Cathy agreed, as her mission for the year.'

"So you serious? You want to go with him?" asked Cathy, as they finally reached the bottom of the stairs.

"Nah, I was joking but we'll see. I have him in my English class. If we talk more maybe, but probably not." Answered Stacy.

They had now stepped out of the building and headed across the field to their hang out. Stacy's eyes scanned the field to look for Arick, he often would disappear when they reached the bottom. Cathy and Stacy never did understand why because he did hang around near them.

Giving up, she turned her attention to her group of friends who were becoming clearer to see as they reached closer to them.

"Well just tell me. Cause Stace I serious you guys would be so cute together. Cause you guys so small!" giggled Cathy as they came to their hang out.

Stacy giggled, then catching a glance at Arick walking into the building that they hung in front of.

"Why you laughing?" asked Cathy confused.

"Nothing." Replied Stacy trying to hold in her giggle. She didn't want Cathy to know that she was looking at Arick.

"Ok.." Cathy said as she slowly walked away waving.

"Hey Stace." Yelled a voice behind Stacy.

Stacy turned around and walked towards the building they hung in front of. "Hey Jackie." She replied as she came to a pillar and found her friend leaning next to it.

"Hey Stace." Answered Jackie as she smiled. "I saw you checking someone out, who's the guy?" laughed Jackie looking around.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Stacy said acting innocent.

"Oh come on Stacy you got to tell me, we're 5th period buddies last year! Come on!" exclaimed Jackie, who smiled.

Stacy laughed at her friend. Jackie was as short as Stacy was and have eyes that Stacy adored. Her eyes were almond shaped; she was probably blessed with them because of her Japanese blood. Jackie was one of the few friends out of their group who wasn't Filipino.

"So who is it?" asked Jackie, as she tugged on the shirt that Stacy wore.

"Just some cute boy." Giggled Stacy.

"Who?" asked Jamie. "Come on tell me!" yelled Jackie, who was getting excited.

"Ok. Do you know who Arick is?" asked Stacy who stood there smiling.

"Yah he's in my first period." Replied Jackie. "Is that who you were yah?" asked Jamie realizing why Stacy had asked.

"Yah." Giggled Stacy. "I think he's cute, and Cathy wanted to hook us up for prom ever since the first day of school." She added.

"Oh! He's so cute he sits right in front of me during our math class. Do you want me to hint to him." Said Jackie as she smiled.

"No its ok." Replied Stacy, feeling a little shame that so much of her friends knew how she thought Arick was cute, she didn't want him to feel as if she might be harassing him.

"Ok . but are you sure cause I think I'm going to do it anyways. He's so cute I think you guys should go prom together!" said Jackie.

Stacy laughed, at Jackie's comment and Jackie began to giggle.

"Who's cute that your going prom with?" asked Ryan as he stepped toward the two girls interrupting the conversation.

Stacy rolled her eyes to herself. He was listening once again. Ryan was a great guy though making everyone laughs, sweet to the girls. She couldn't blame him for overhearing; it was something most of their friends would do since they stood so close to one another at the hang out. You were bound to have someone interrupt your conversation asking something about it.

Jackie and Stacy turned to face Ryan. Stacy quickly replied "No one." And Jackie nodded her head.

"Ok." He replied as he put his arm around Jackie. Jackie and Ryan were great friends, although she never heard them announce they were Stacy knew they were. They were always talking and joking with one another, and you could just tell that they were close friends.

"But you know .. I thought you were going with me to prom?" he asked as he looked at Stacy. Jamie's eyebrow rose and looked at Stacy question his comment to Stacy.

"I said if your girlfriend couldn't go. Besides, I didn't know you were serious. And who says she can't go." Replied Stacy as she looked at Ryan and then at Jackie hoping to have explained the situation to her.

Ryan just nodded head. "Well I don't know yet." He replied taking his arm off Jackie's shoulder.

"Well then don't complain." Joked Jackie, as she looked at her friends.

Ryan just nodded his head. And Stacy's mind wondered. 'I thought we were just joking when we said that at Physics yesterday. I guess he wasn't. Err, but even with this guy it isn't certain that I'll go with him. Either way if it's Arick or him, as long as I have a date things will be ok. But I wish I knew if I had a date soon.'

**That's it for chapter 2. I have an idea for all my chapters already and I think there'll be 22. Most of them will be short like the first two. Well hope you like my story so far and keep reading. Review if you get a chance! Thanks :D!**
