RIIIING RIIING. "Nicole! Get the phone, its for you anyways, I'm in the shower," another week end at my house, when my aunt is always at the computer doing work, grand parents playing with my baby cousin, and my mom in her room watching television. RIIING, "Nicole, I told you to get that," see even my boring family gets busy over a phone, "Hello?" I tell you it's like telling the difference between a teenager and a kid. "You're wrong, its for you, pay me ten pesos for that, smelly aunt," see what I mean they ask you to grow up yet sometimes they want you to stay like that forever, "No way," that's life.

In my days. that's what they always tell you, tough luck, I really wish that I were in "their days" at least the cost of things are a lot cheaper. But anyways, I'm here to tell you about my mom, the only parent that I have.

My mother. who was she again, yeah. the strange one. She often has mood swings, not for the worst; I mean she is loads of fun. Although she can't really handle my uniqueness and weirdness, she takes the time to somewhat accept me for who I am? Yeah that's true, she even lets me go to an art store where they sell expensive paints, brushes, and all that; but hey, I'll never buy those things. I'll just save my money and give it to the homeless animals or UNICEF because I know it's for a cause that's what she always says, when we watch Animal Planet or other documentaries about poor people. Anyways, she works all the time so I don't really see her that much which is sad. I don't really know anything about her; I guess that goes the same for her. But we bond once in a while when I ask her to take me to the mall. I remember one time, when we went into a record store and we met the melody of a techno song, she went on dancing and singing gibberish. I had to laugh while making her stop because she was embarrassing. The only down side to her is that she likes to scold me, even though it wasn't my fault, she likes to tease me whenever she sees someone handsome (ick!), and she doesn't believe me all the time because I'm a "pathological liar" which is not true! I guess people have down sides parents.

"Nicole, its for you," even though life has its ups and downs, you cant even last a day without smiling at a joke. I guess that is what life is for me, to take things seriously but never forget to have fun. That's how my mother, my grand parents, and aunt survived a journey called life. Also never forget to tell your parents how much you love them or if its too embarrassing for you just show it through your actions, "Hi Fini!".

The end
