If anyone listened I was just wind that passed you by Never knew why you took a chance To grab me by the hand and say "Hey, want to be my friend?"

I was surprised I mean who wouldn't be. Right?

I always said that the sunny days were the gray ones Never knew if any one listened All I know is that it passed by your ear And that's a good sign

But it always pays in the end To be able to touch some body's heart To tell them its gonna be fine tomorrow

It always was fun. To fight with you To tell you that I was sorry And you to tell me that everything was okay

Just isn't fair that every God damn good thing Always happens to you Don't brag okay. I'm happy for you too

I was always happy for you Even though jealousy Seemed to seep into me I don't care As long as you're happy

I just swallow my pride and say "Thank God she had a good grade!"

That was all I wanted Nothing more Just to see you smile

It's like sunshine when you smile Like a bookmark that indicates every page of my life's story

Until the last few pages of my book.

But I'll never say goodbye That'd be forgetting me That is so not me! I promise I wont leave you.

All you have to do is to look at the sky at night And wait for a twinkling little star You'll know that it's me

You'll see me up there smiling at you Even when the clouds cloak up the sky And there's no sign of the moon I'll always be there for you
