Warning: if you want to take a bubbly bath in the next few minutes do so now before reading because you will get sucked in!
Now that this is done, I hope you enjoy!
I could feel Yersin tense underneath my hands on his neck for a moment. But the next moment, he had relaxed. And the next moment after that, he was kissing me back. I enjoyed it for a long moment, for once the currents running from me to him, instead of the other way around. And then, true to form, the perfection was interrupted.
"Holy cow, Yersin, you don't have to take the bet this far!" I groaned as Yersin pulled away. I couldn't take this again, so I started to stand up. He put his hand on my arm, stopping me.
"This isn't about the bet, Sarjon. I happen to like Ramira, okay? And if that bothers you, you can leave." Sarjon looked shocked for a moment.
"But, Yersin, this is Ramira. Ramira the weirdo, remember? We've spent half of our lives helping you tease her to the breaking point. Heck, we beat her up a few days ago! Are you insane?" I bristled and looked down, trying to contain my anger before I did something stupid.
"And things change, Sarjon. Deal with it." Sarjon merely shook his head.
"Man, you are being way too weird. What will the other guys say when they hear about this?" The prospect of facing the rest of his group seemed to daunt Yersin momentarily, and he fell silent. I sighed softly, turning my head. Coming clean in front of one of his friends was all well and good, but the entire clique scared him. He looked up at my sigh, as if it were a signal. His mouth hardened, and he glared at Sarjon.
"They'll say what they say. I've kept quiet about all of their crushes, and even yours, Sarjon. Or does your mother want to know about what you really do half the time you're supposedly being with us?" Sarjon reddened, scuffing his booted foot against the ground for a moment.
"Alright, alright, I get it. We'll leave you alone. Probably. Bentals
know your mother has been harping at you to get with a nice girl, she'll be
happy." Now Yersin reddened.
"My mother is an over involved busy body." He muttered. I bit my lip
to keep from laughing, because Yersin was absolutely right about his
mother. Sarjon grinned and waved at Yersin slightly, still scowling
uncertainly at me, before disappearing into the bushes. Yersin sighed with
relief, turning back to me.
"So, where were we?" he asked, leaning in for another kiss. I laughed and pushed him away.
"I don't know about you, but I was going home before my mother starts worrying about me." He pouted and whined, but I smiled and shook my head. "Another time, Yersin. You've still got a lot of making up to do."
