9/11

What did you do on that day?

I fell to my knees and began to pray

For the heroes who faced the gray

They couldn’t believe it wasn’t a play.

A trick in their mind; a simple delay

This couldn’t have happened, this disarray.

Osama Bin Laden, tell me why

Why all those people had to die?

On that cold September day

9/11 it’s called to our dismay

Will this chaos ever end?

Will our hearts mend?

I pray there’ll be peace to send

Around the corner’s bend

Into the new trend

The US’s new trend

We’ve beaten our foes before

We’re knocking at your door

You laugh at us and yell more!

But, it’s our turn to laugh as we yell nevermore

You can’t hide, in the end we will soar.

We’ll shake the earth when we roar

But, America will end this war!
