Shades of gray

tint my world

and color me black

and melancholy.

Somber tones

resound in the

hollows of my being.

Everlasting gloom

descends upon my humanity

in this alternate

dimension of delinquency.

The colors

lie in their lonely tombs.

There are no rainbows here.
