Little Weak Girl Pg, 3-7-03

Your eyes are like fire,

Burning into my soul.

Bearing down onto me.

Casting a protective shadow over my mortal body.

I am just a girl in your eyes.

A little-

Weak-

Girl.

The blindfold is taken off my eyes.

The world is set out before me.

But you hold me back with powerful hands.

But the world is set before my eyes.

Mine to explore but I can't.

I'm just a little-

Weak-

Girl.

I'm not allowed out after the sunsets.

I'm not allowed out of your shadow.

I'm not even allowed to voice an opinion.

But I see opinion within others and fight to have my own.

But you hold on tight.

Because I am a little-

Weak-

Girl.

With out realizing it,

I stand tall and cast you down.

I am the stronger one now.

I am in no need for your "protection".

And I don't need you anymore.

Because you're just a little-

Weak-

Boy.

Author: Hi, wow that came out of no where really. I just sat down listening to the sound Just a Girl by no doubt real inspiration, by the way, and it just came out! I've been stuff for inspiration for like that last week! Couldn't get a poem or a lyric or even a sentence of a story out! Major writers block! You know when your heads empty? You can even write a poem about that! But my inspiration level was at a dangerous level I could even write a poem about that! I think I killed the Block Monster and more poems will be up soon! Thanks for reading this bye!!
