The following passage was taken from the notes of Dr. James K. Finstein, a German parapsychologist. The entry's translation reads:

"Even a man who is pure in heart

And says his prayers by night,

Will become a wolf

When the wolfs bane blooms

And the autumn moon is bright."

"Werewolves are real; they are living creatures and can be extremely deadly. I have studied these creatures and learned their habits and their history. There are two classes of werewolf: alpha werewolves and beta werewolves. Alpha werewolves are the originators of the disease, inherited from a black magic disease known as the Lycaeonia curse. The blood is tainted and the Alpha shows symptoms of the disease; such as the tainted color of the blood, inclination toward violence, aggression, and rage, insomnia and other forms of different behavior. At nights, the Alpha werewolf turns into either the from of a wolf or in rare cases, stays in human form but gain more hair, extended middle fingers, small pointy ears, gold and red eyes, long nails, and sharp teeth. In both cases of transformation, the same animal instincts occur. The Alpha can bite other human beings and change them into Beta werewolves. As they bite an untainted human, the tainted blood of the Alpha seeps from the teeth into the victim's veins making causing the victim's blood to taint and the human to become a Beta werewolf. An Alpha werewolf is cursed for life, but it is a different scenario for a Beta werewolf.

A Beta werewolf holds the same symptoms, transformations, but the spell can be broken. In order to break the spell of being a werewolf, the Alpha must be killed somehow. However, the spell can be eternal as well. If the Beta werewolf tastes human blood before the Alpha is killed, the Beta is cursed for life.

Werewolves can be killed by any severe damage to the heart or brain. Werewolves must be burnt or decapitated after death or will rise again as a vampire.

Werewolves have immortality and can live throughout centuries without aging. Their immortality is what causes the transformation. A werewolf constantly transforms which makes the skin tissue regenerate.

A werewolf has many unique instincts, many are for finding victims. The nasal passage of a werewolf is clearer making a werewolf's sense of smell much more sophisticated than human. Another main instinct is the ability to see a five-pointed pentagram on a future victim's palm while in human form. The pentagram sign on the person's hand is a symbol that the werewolf will kill them that very night.

During the autumn season, werewolves are known to gain more power by smelling burnt wolfs bane. The scent enriches their systems and speeds up their body functions, making them almost unstoppable.

The werewolf has no control over its animal instincts. It is a curse and once a werewolf awakens, the night that followed would seem to be an elaborate dream. In order to make a werewolf come back into a human form before the sun rises, the werewolf must be killed or attacked with anything created out of silver. When either of these occurs, the transformation will begin and the werewolf will go into the human form. The human at this time will be in an unconscious state. When the human wakes up, the scars will be gone, for the skin tissue has regenerated.

Due to their instincts, animals can notice easily if a person is a werewolf or not. Some will act in fear; others will try to defend themselves. There is a possible way to slow the instincts, allowing the werewolf perform on its own free will. The Talbot Talisman, engraved with a symbol of a wolf howling into the moon and three stars, is a magical pendant that only works on the tissue of a werewolf. This pendant, when worn in werewolf form, will give the werewolf control of its own powers and allow the werewolf perform to act on his or her own will. However, the use of the Talbot Talisman will decrease the power of the werewolf. Of course, I have never seen this talisman, but I have found several clues to its current location."
