A/N: Ever watched someone while they slept? It's just a little something right now, but it could turn into a story... depends on how it comes out. Sorry for not updating my story 'Want or Need', by the way. My computer crashed before I could update, but once it's fixed, I swear I'll update.

Your auburn hair curls around your face and I can hardly keep myself from reaching out to brush a strand of it from your brow. The peaceful aura that you possess makes me feel so at ease. The calm silence around us is interrupted by your steady breathing, and my heart pounds a little bit faster as I drag my fingers lazily across your soft skin. You must not be fully asleep because you snuggle closer to me, burying your face in the crook of my neck. Your intoxicating scent fills my nostrils and I damn near faint at the sensation it gives me. Do you know how good you make me feel? Maybe you do 'cause you're smiling again. That smile melts my heart every time I see it.

I stare down at you, wondering if you're dreaming or not. I wonder could you be dreaming of me like I dream of you. In fact, I dream about watching you like this. Watching you sleep with the morning sunlight cascading down your face from the window above our bed. It sends an air of mysterious beauty over you that gives me no choice but to fall in love with you all over again.

I slide my fingers in to your silky hair, caressing it gently. Being careful not to wake you, I tilt your head up and kiss you tenderly. I move my hand down your cheek, feeling the warm skin on my palm. God, you're so gorgeous.

A breeze comes through the open window on the other side of the room, causing you to shiver slightly. The movement invokes a protective spirit in me and I pull you closer to me. My lips press lightly against your forehead when your arms wrap around my waist. "I got you, babe." I whisper into your hair. You moan quietly as if acknowledging my presence. It's funny how we always know when each other is there.

Lying here with you gives me a feeling of complete serenity. I remember the first time we slept together. It was so akward for the first few minutes, but then we both realized that we both needed the comfort and warmth from each other. The love we shared that night seemed to last forever, and I think it did because I'm still in love with you. That first night was ten years ago, babe, and I love you even more than i did then. Hopefully you feel the same.

Your emerald eyes flutter open and look up into mine as an enchanting smile spreads across your face. I know that smile...
