Angel's Gift: Author's Notes

Loosely based around an anime I saw called "UFO Princess Valkyrie," but with some major changes made. You see, I liked the idea, but a lot of elements of the series didn't really work for me. I'll also be using a few elements of 'Tenchi Muyo,' one of the best harem series of all time.

Chapter one is probably the closest in content to one of "UFO Princess" and after that I'm tending to write more of a "Tenchi Muyo" sort of style. Allison, Jenna and Sharin are sort of a mix of characters from both of those two titles. Milly is right from "UFO" and Marilyn and Roma are both homages to characters from "Tenchi Muyo." Kat is my 'more-or-less normal' character, who is right in the middle of all this madness and having a great time. Finally, I'm not quite sure where Amara came from... maybe Trigun, or something. ^_^

Home planets and other details I have not chosen to include just yet. Why? Because I haven't quite decided if I want to have them move on to space adventures, and if so, when...

A short guide to the main Characters:

Allison Tennison: (First Apperarance: Part One) On the surface, she's a fairly average looking young woman. She has short brown hair and brown eyes, and is quite boyishly slim. She's often been mistaken for a very pretty looking young man. After her 'accident' she discovered that she has angel wing scars on her shoulder blades and a mysterious link with Jenna. She quite firmly thinks of herself as being straight, but Jenna is starting to wear her down.

Princess Jenna: (First Apperarance: Part One) A beautiful woman with long black curly hair and deep blue eyes. Very shapely, rather the physical opposite of Allison. She came to Earth running away from an arranged marriage and accidentally crashed right into Allison's home, nearly killing her. Believing Allison to be a handsome young man she fell in love at first sight, and used the 'Bonding' procedure to save Allison's life. Even after discovering that Allison is a girl Jenna continues to persue her, sure that she's finally found her soul mate.

Sharin: (First Apperarance: Part One) Another beautiful woman, with blonde hair and blue eyes. She serves the high Queen as a Quester and came to Earth seeking Jenna. Realizing that Jenna had already bonded to Allison, she knew she was in very deep trouble. For now she is remaining in exile on Earth, and is becoming a reluctant ally of Jenna and Allison. From how she speaks to Jenna, they may share some kind of history, but what remains unknown. She also seems to take some perverse pleasure in sparing with Milly...

Milly: (First Apperarance: Part Three) Jenna's catgirl servant and also her bodyguard. She has served Jenna loyally for many years, and knows all of her secrets. Filled with lots of energy and very cute, but also quite lethal. She has flaming red hair, cat's ears and a long tail. She accepted Allison almost immediately, but she has ann immense dislike for Sharin. At least, that's what it looks like...

Kat: (First Apperarance: Part Four) An attractive young woman with long brown hair and brown eyes. She's an out lesbian, and works at Allison's book store as well as being a good friend of hers. Very level headed, she quite coolly accepted Allison's new friends as soon as she met them.

Marilyn and Roma: (First Apperarance: Part Four) A Galatic Patrol officer and her robotic sidekick. The blue haired Marilyn is quite emotional and very easily upset, while the silvery skinned Roma is much more level headed.

Amara: (First Apperarance: Part Six) A mysterious figure, possibly a human, or possibly not. Black haired and dresses boyish in leather, including a long black overcoat that easily hides a broad variety of little surprises. She was attempting to collect a bounty on Jenna, but discovered that she is bonded to her old schoolmate, Allison...
