Innocent Guilt

Pretending like nothing had happened
Walking away, hearts been darkened
First you've been crying
but in the end your just lying

Didn't you know?
I can see through your facade
That you tried to barricade
With walls of joy and laughter

I've seen you crying in blood tears
But I'm the only one who hears
Saw you looking at your reflection
Seeing nothing but rejection

How can I see that?
I'm a part of you
That you've been hiding
Inside the sins you've been covering

An innocence tainted with guilt
You are chained with me
In an everlasting void
Where the conscience lies dormant
And the truth creates nothing but a surreal dream...
