Officer: Yeah, I'm being transferred here from Detroit. This is the police department for Hell, Michigan, right?

Secretary: Yes. Let me get the chief. (calls off) Chief!

Chief: (enters) Yeah?

Officer: Hello sir, I'm being transferred here.

Chief: Ah, hello! Welcome to Hell.

Officer: *snicker*

Chief: What?

Officer: Nothing.

Chief: Now, I assume you've studied the city ordinances and procedures for Hell. . .

Officer: *snicker*

Chief: So, if you have any troubles with the citizens- -

Officer: Of what?

Chief: Excuse me?

Officer: I just need some clarification, the citizens of what?

Chief: *sigh* The citizens of Hell. . .

Officer: (laughs louder)

Chief: Listen, if this is going to be a problem. . .

Officer: No, no, I'm over it.

Chief: Good. Now, if they begin rioting- -

Officer: So, that would mean all Hell has broken loose?

Chief: That's it, you're on your own. (leaves)

Officer: (calls after him) How often does Hell freeze over!? (laughs more)
