Time between the Seconds

Author's Note: Again, thsi is not a poem but a song. My sister just started playing random chords on her guitar and I started singing a wordless melody....and the melody became this song. Kinda depressing....but I still love it.

Love between two people

Should last for all time

But too often people

Change it on a dime

Broken hearts lead

To broken dreams

Nothing lasts for ever

Nothing’s what it seems

The time between the seconds

Lasts for so long

And being so far apart

Just feels so wrong

.

Things spin in circles

Things comes apart

And the choices we made

Don’t seem to smart

Can we find our way

Back to the place

Where we were happy

Where we could embrace

.

Wandering hearts that are so lost

Search for a sign

Hoping and praying

That the lost hasn't lost time

.
