So cold and dark, a world devoid of light,

Yes, this is my life, it is a cold life,

But such passion, it is an endless fight,

At what price? love of blood, teeth sharp like knives,

But above all the horrid love of blood,

That burns away inside my mind and soul,

So I kill, leaving bodies in the mud,

leave dead faces pale from the blood I stole,

I have vampiric immortality,

I've seen empires rise and fall like the sea,

I've seen love, sin, pain, fatality,

Invisible chains, I'll never break free,

So I'll go alone into darkest land,

Traveling by night and shunning the day,

From English woodland to Egyptian sand,

Although I can do nothing, still I pray

That I could start my life and heart anew,

and be pure enough to stand by you
