SCENE ONE: SANCTUM: THE INSIDE

NARRATOR: Hidden in depths beyond time and space and limitations, Existence is created. The instinctive knowledge of all that is, with nothing separating the shadowed mysteries of life, going on for infinity. Then, everything changes, and with the sowing of the seed, nothing will be the same.

HEART: I live.

MIND: I now live as well. I have lived, -you- have always lived, but only now to do you to Existence, for your knowledge and for your folly.

HEART: Who are you, deepest of voices?

MIND: I am that is who will haunt your nightmares and stalk your dreams.

HEART: What are you, from the depth of my thought?

MIND: I am the sound, the hearing of silence: Nothingness in itself to no-one in particular. I am all.

HEART: Your tone is cold- condescending-, why, Walker of Shadows?

MIND: Nothing holds no bounds: I am everything in itself.

HEART: Speak of wonderings and doubter of words: Where are you?

MIND: Everywhere and nowhere- but the whisper of wind.

HEART: There is no wind here, in the Inside.

MIND: Is there?

*

SCENE TWO: THE CAVERN: THE EXTERIOR

BITTERNESS: A cold wind blows this night.

HATE: How can a wind blow? What is a wind? Nothing but your imagination, brother.

MISUNDERSTANDING: No, brother, I feel it too this day. There is a fell voice around us.

HATE: Isn't there always, as it has been since our Existence? Eons and ages, nothing has changed.

MISUNDERSTANDING: I feel the first rays, Sunlight, and our brother has tasted the first shards of Ice and Night. It has now begun.

BITTERNESS: Existence cannot fade.

MISUNDERSTANDING: Yet it can.

HATE: How can we know? We are not the Wise.

SCENE THREE: THE SANCTUM: THE CORE

RIDICULE: They speak of things-inane things- has it begun?

WISDOM: The cradle, the cradle. It has thus begun, and we will leave - the Wisest will be gone-

SORROW: Filled with felony and crazed thoughts-

FOLLY: Ridiculed and past-

JOY: The very last of all senses.

ALL: Doom of us all.

SCENE FOUR: THE DOME

INNOCENCE: What is going on around us? The is change upon us, even Naïveté can feel it.

GUILT: I do not know, I do not know...

DOUBT: Will the sky burst into the light that Existence has so longed hoped it to be?

FEAR: Existence -why would Existence want such a thing-?

SHAME: We are furthest from the Core; our wisdom is shallow and distant. We are only what we are.

DOUBT: Will it be enough?

INNOCENCE: We are but part of the entirety; we all know what.

ALL: It is, and would be, that we fit together.

SCENE FIVE: THE CAVERN: MEZZANINE

SONG: The Muses feed me; Inspiration is upon us.

ACCEPTANCE: With Inspiration comes but one thing: Change.

COMPASSION: Have we so swiftly fulfilled our purpose?

LOVING: We are but the small pieces in a large puzzle.

KINDNESS: Our influence is yet great; each of us has great influence in our own ways.

BEAUTY: It is each of us to contributes to all that will be.

SONG: Our voices are not dimmed, even as the Existence flickers.

COMPASSION: So different, so different, yet fitting together -seamless-, how can it be?

LOVING: We are the Song and Dance of the wise.

ACCEPTANCE: Binding the threads together, showing Beauty our works.

BEAUTY: So that I can mould the sculpture of purity and unmarred grace, unfed and untainted Wisdom.

ACCEPTANCE: So is our part in the Wise.

[Exit SCENE]

NARRATOR: So it was that the first of the Stirrings occurred, and the Wise were filled by a sense of impending completion: Sorrow and Joy, entwined as one, as it always had been for the entire Existence. A silent wave of emotion flowed through the Existence in that instant, for the Existence was as it was meant to be: Complete, connected with no secrets kept as secrets.

SCENE SIX: THE SANCTUM: THE INSIDE

HEART: Brother!

MIND: What is it?

HEART: I can no longer hear Them, we are breaking apart.

MIND: We were never part of Them, we are an Existence on our own.

HEART: That is not possible: A system within the System.

MIND: Yet it is. Why do you think we never felt or heard the sound of the Wise, even the slightest and sightless from the Dome?

HEART: You lie... You lie...

SCENE SEVEN: THE CAVERN: THE INTERIOR

CONFLICTION: The pain of passing is upon the air, yet the joy of completion is wafting around us.

CONCISION: The Completion is near?

CONDEMN: Of course. Have we not been fated from the beginning?

CONDESCEND: Yet you do not know all ends. Not even the Wise know our true ending.

CONFUSION: Has it always been so hard to tell?

CONFLICTION: It is our very essence.
