Well, here's another interesting sample of poetry deprived from my raving mind. Heh, anyway, this is another assignment from school - I actually like the poem this time although it was draining to write because I couldn't get the last four lines to cooperate. But that's just my twisted opinion. Yes, moving on. Do enjoy my poem and feel free to review it because one: it's nice, and two: you know that you want to.

As I stare into the night sky,
And admire the cloak of utter dark,
I sit here and wonder why,
The stars reach up in an endless arch,
And how the moon will ever spin,
Its pale light lacing the earth,
Is it like some surreal sin,
Or a simple miracle such as birth?
Is the sun our eternal flame,
Burning bright like a lamp at night-
Or will it sear us with a deadly bane,
And take away all flight?
I like to wonder about things like this,
The universe and everything in its own bliss.
