I’ve searched,

all my life,

Just to find,

That one something,

or someone,

For me,

to hold onto,

Inside my heart,

Forever.

Sadly,

I’ve yet to find,

my light,

that one thing,

that sets me free,

The one thing,

That I need,

That will be with me,

Forever.

But then it struck me,

The thing,

I’ve searched for so long,

Was right there,

Standing by me,

Waiting for me,

to figure out they are,

my friends,

Forever.
