Lost eyes open as
The dark sky spreads
Across my vision.

Starless depth engulfing
Breath so quick
My inspiration falters.

Dim horizon lights
A fate now lost
And sealed away forever.

Echoes of heaven bask
My cold skin, lost
To pleasure ending.

Tempting, waiting, testing
Will to live without
Life or die by living.

Lust is driving through
This lifeless shell to
Steal life's nectar pulsing.

I give in to the
Madness, dark prayer
Whispering my wanting.

No end in sight,
No call to fight
To take my soul.
