ImmortalityI had a dream one night about how terrible it could be to live forever. I guess this is about vampirism, but then maybe it's more about faith. What do you think? My faith is broken, and so I lie here crying.I never thought that things could come to this.I thought the end of life was only dyingA moment's fear, before eternity in bliss. No pain, you said. I lived my life in wonderWalked some straight paths, on others turned asideNot knowing then that final fateful blunderWould send me on this grey forsaken ride. My faith is broken, and my mind is fading, gentlyI cannot stand, continue as I oughtI cannot break that single, precious cycleI cannot rid myself of that one thought - The memory of a second's peace before I died.No pain, you said. Oh God, I never knew you lied.
