Project Love

"I said no, are you deaf?!" screamed a girl. She had fiery red hair. Her eyes were the color of the ocean. She was banging on the table. Her madness made her eyes look like a tsunami.

The boy in front of her rolled his dark purple eyes. His violet hair was what stands out most. "I'm not deaf but I think you are! The teacher said everyone gets one!" he yelled. He dumped the paper on her desk.

"Akina, Sanko! Pay attention!" yelled the teacher. She had long black hair. Her mad face was growing bigger as people started talking more and more. "Err, class, if you speak again, you will stay after three!" she scolded. The class became quiet at once.

"Okay, I want to pair you guys and girls in twos. Boy and girl to do this project. It's called 'Project Love'." the teacher began. The students began whispering. Miss Sako, the teacher in front of the class, was getting annoyed. "Be quiet! Let me finish first! Each one of you guys and girls will have to think of something to do with one another. Since it's almost Valentine's Day, I thought it was best if I did something like this-" Miss Sako was cut short.

"Miss Sako! Valentine's Day is about spending time with you boyfriends. Why the people in our class? How dumb!" someone called out. She had aqua colored hair. She is considered the most popular girl in the school. Known to date high school guys.

"Nakiko, that is very rude. You are partly right about Valentine's Day though. To ME, Valentine's Day is a day of love. You treat everyone nice that day. Guys and girls like each other even though they never before," Miss Sako said with dreamy eyes.

Nakiko sneered. "Anyways, please let me continue. Project Love works like this, the guys and girls will be spending a lot of time together. You kids must visit your partners house at least 2 times a week till the day after V-day! You must do a lot of things together and report it at V-day! The more, the better," Miss Sako explained.

"That doesn't matter, not if I get Sanko, that is," Akina whispered to her friend, Kiomi.

Kiomi giggled, "I would really want Sanko as MY partner."

"Alrighty! Let me tell you who you will work with first!"-Takes out her notebook and puts on reading glasses-"Ahem...Akina and Sanko...-" Miss Sako was again cut short.

Akina stood up this time, "Miss Sako! There must be a mistake! Why am I working with Sanko?! You know that he and I don't work well together!"

"Ahem, I know that, Akina. But you and Sanko SHOULD get together sometime to understand each other more, that's what Valentine's Day mean. Next...Nakiko and Tenshin..." Miss Sako continued.

Akina sat back down madly. She looked at Sanko who didn't look too good either. If she didn't like him, what makes you think he likes her?

"Miss-Miss Sako! I object! Out of everyone in the class, why must MY partner be the nerd of the class?! You do know that I can't loose my repetition! I can't go walking around with a nerd!" Nakiko screamed.

"Excuse me? Too bad. As I said before, you must work together with Tenshin or you'll fail this quarter, got it?" Nakiko made a face but went with it anyway.

Soon the class ended. Akina and Kiomi were walking home together. They didn't live too far away from each other. That made them the best of friends. Too bad this is 8th grade though. The next year, they'd go to different schools.

"I can't believe I have Nickin! He's the class bully!" Kiomi exclaimed.

"Hey, I'd rather if him than Sanko!" Akina said madly.

"Yeah, Miss Sako KNOWS how important the grade is to us, doesn't know this?!" Kiomi said walking madly with stomps.

"I don't know but I WILL try my best in working with Sanko. I can't lose my grade just because I hate him...well, gotta go, bye." Akina waved. Kiomi waved back and they went different ways.

Akina: I've had enough, Sanko! You better come back here! We have a project to do!

Sanko: No way, I'm always against you, back off. I'm going to the park.

Akina: WHAT?! Fine, I'll follow you!

Sanko: Huh?
