Hey, the first part is in always gonna be in Latin. For all you sucker know Latin, or can't translate off the top of your head (Magister Surette would be ashamed!), the English translation is down at the bottom of this loverly page. If you know Latin, you could atleast try to translate.

The characters are in this chapter are: Andorra, Catalina, and Octavius

This is a stupid prologue; it'll get better.

Prologue*********

Andorra per magnis agris currit ad viam.

In raeda sedent Catalina et Octavius tacite. Simul vident Andorram currit. Strenua Catalina currit statim ad puellam, se Octavius est ignavus et manet.

"Veni, Octavi!" clamat Catalina. Sed Octavius manet. "Te es ignavus, Octavi," Catalina clamat iterum. "Tu es ignavus et fatuus."

Tandem Andorra advenit Catalinam. "Est non ignavus, Catalina. Est defessus," inquit.

Catalina respondet, "Ita vero, sed est fatuus adhuc."

Andorra, "Ita vero."

Eo ipso tempore, Octavius clamat, "Cur dui procul loquitis?" Catalina et Andorra rident et festinant ad raedam.
English!

Andorra runs through the great fields to the road.

In the carriage Catalina and Octavius sit quietly. At the same time the see Andorra running. Energetic Catalina runs immediately to the girl, but Octavius is lazy and stays.

"Come, Octavius!" shouts Catalina. But Octavius stays. "You are lazy, Octavius," Catalina shouts again. "You are lazy and stupid."

Finally Andorra reaches Catalina. "He is not lazy, Catalina. He is tired," she says.

Catalina responds, "Yes, but he is still stupid."

Andorra says, "Of course."

At that very moment, Octavius shouts, "Why do you talk so long out there?" Catalina and Andorra laugh and hurry to the carriage.

A/N: Hey, I know, it's pretty bad. Just wait till Mike comes along. Also, a poll, please. In the translation, should I use their real names? Right now I'm using their Latin names all around.
