At the computer for hours on end,

Lack of ideas drives me around the bend,

Tap at the keys, hit the CAPS Lock,

But all that comes up are the words

WRITER'S BLOCK.

Blank mind descending, surely not my fault,

That all my ideas have ground to a halt,

Need a cliff hanger ending - to give the reader a shock

But all I can type are the words:

WRITER'S BLOCK.

I've been writing this book for what seems like forever,

I need one final chapter to bring the whole thing together,

Easily distracted by the tick of the clock,

The only words I see are the words;

WRITER'S BLOCK.
