Wow, Alexia thought, this brings back a lot of memories.

Alexia was sitting on the front steps of the library waiting for Adam to come. It was already 10:17 pm.

I hope nothing happened to him. But he’s a vampire so nothing could happen to him… unless…. NO. James is dead. I’m sure he’s just late and got caught up. Alexia was still thinking to herself when Adam unexpectedly appeared walking towards her.

He definitely still looks good, Alexia thought. He was wearing black pants, a black shirt, and a black trench coat. Which went good with his black hair and amazing blue eyes.

He stopped in front of her and said with his British accent. "Hello, Alexia. Sorry I was late getting here. I um had some problems on the way here."

I better not elaborate on that, Alexia thought.

"Why did you want to see me?" she asked.

Adam sat down on the step next to her. "Well, It‘s about James."

NO NO NO NO. This cannot be happening. We killed him. "What do you mean?" She gulped.

"Not exactly James. More like what James did." Adam said quickly, seeing her fear.

"Ok… and what did James do that I need to be worried about?" Alexia was relieved that James was still did but was still anxious to find out what the big problem was.

"Remember when we were in the abandon apartment buildings that night?" Adam asked.

How could I forget? My ex-boyfriend, who I killed by the way, tried to kill my little brother. But all she managed to say was a weak "yes".

"And I told you how my father killed my mother and James took revenge on all of my relatives?" Adam asked.

"Yeah?" Alexia asked timidly.

"Well, I don’t how the Hell he fucked it up, but my father is still alive and asking for you and Shane." Adam said.

"What do you mean? Why the Hell would he want look for Shane and I?" Alexia asked angrily.

"I have no idea, but I‘ve heard this from some reliable sources," Adam replied.

"Ok, so exactly do you want me to do? Wait around for your father to show up?" Alexia rubbed her forehead.

"Yeah, and be prepared. Also, I think I’m going to rent James’ old apartment. So I can be close around. "

"Well, I know Shane will like that." Shane had really gotten to like Adam, during the time they spent together (which was only three days). And was heartbroken when Adam told him he had to go back to England.

"Well, I‘ll come see you and Shane tomorrow morning bright and early. See you." Adam started to stand.

"Wait a second. In the apartments that night you said that James gave you a soul to kill you. What does it mean when you have a soul?" Alexia wondered.

"You will find out sooner or later," Adam smiled and walked away.

Alexia groaned and put her hands over her face. "I wish I never met James."
