I, Tuesday Muerto, sit here watching from a far at the giant wildfire which was once a manor, my manor. I hold the modern day dagger to my held, waiting to pull the trigger. Visions of that fateful evening rush through my mind like a speeding train. The rain pours hard on my trench coat and the thunder yells out like a bat out of hell. I look into the dark clouds, hoping to see the loving hand of God, or a sign that will stop me from this pulling on the trigger, but nothing looks down at my pathetical soul except for a lonely fall tree branch. A flash of lightning stands in front of my eyes. It hits the tree's arm as a small fire erupts from the shoulder. The branch falls on top of my head as I fall down unconscious on the floor. I remember that fateful summer evening. I sit on the luxurious sofa next to my love Vanessa. Several people stand in the main room, some smoking cigarettes, others talking casually to fellow party guests and a man constantly looking at his pocket watch standing on the ruby carpet. I turn to my Vanessa, look at her in her luscious sapphire eyes. I move her wavy sand-like hair away from her left eye. She closes her eyes, I close mine as I lean my head towards hers. Vanessa and I walk out giggling. We walk into another room where a man is sitting in a wooden chair. Vanessa and I bow down to the blazing bull on the wall. I look at the other people bowing in front of the bull. The man with the orange stained face stands with the rapier in his hand. He pulls it back as the chants grow. The man swings it towards the man on the chair with one blow. Cheers are yelled as the corpse sits on the chair. Vanessa and I walk to another room. In the room stands a giant lamp like object. Vanessa and I sit in front of it, lowering the small tubes to our mouths. With each breath and inhalation, smoke comes out from the bubbling top. We felt like angels flying in the air. Laughs grew from our mouths as we felt pleasured. The scent in the air delighted our senses. The last room we walked into before the fire was a giant room with many luxurious beds. I locked the door before entering the room. The room was dim as lit candles lied on the walls. Many beds, filled with couples, making quick motions. Vanessa lied on one of the unoccupied beds as I went on top of her making quick motions like the other couples. The bed shook rapidly next to the lit candle. The post hit the candle quickly as it fell onto a bed. The couple on the bed turned dark as the flames killed them. Everyone ran to the door, frantically trying to open it. Vanessa ran towards the door as I pulled her quickly. I ran in the opposite direction pulling Vanessa to the opposite side of the door. I pulled open a plank on the floor where a stairway lay. Me and Vanessa walked down the stairs. I closed the planks up so nothing can enter and nothing can leave. A torch laid on the cave wall. I grabbed it and walked down the hall with Vanessa. We walked up another set of stairs to end up in the main room. The fire came from the blazing room like a bull. It charged towards me, but I ran like a coward as I stayed away from the fire. And as I look back, I hear a dreaded scream as I see Vanessa in flames. I grab the ruby carpet that the man with the pocket watch was standing on and brush off the flames from Vanessa. I look at Vanessa lying on the floor with her eyes closed. I lean forward her body and hug Vanessa. My tears fall on top of her corpse as I lean my head towards her chest. I get up and grab a gun from the cabinet. I hold the revolver as I walk outside ready to fire. I wake up into a dark atmosphere. I get up, but hit my head. The air is thin as I hit the wood. I scratch for my life as the wood digs under my fingers. I breathe deeply, but I'm going to die, this I know, for I am stuck in a coffin as the dead man who is alive.
