Normal

What if I could be above the norm,

More than just a raindrop of this storm.

Or a flash of lighting in this cloudy sky,

What if I was one hell of a guy.

This normal pace for my heart to borrow,

Would set my mind amiss to a constant sorrow,

But thank god I’ve found a girl to remind me,

That posing for perfection is now far behind me.

I’m not a model dream come true,

Who could bring everything in the world to you.

I’m not a prince or warrior,

Just a normal boy who couldn’t love you more.

I’ve yearned to be more than hard to resist,

Since that first day that we kissed.

An urge to show you I’m more than this,

So I could change your world to an endless bliss.

But now this foolish hallucination,

Becomes our river of sensation.

We sail onwards under the heavens above,

Which blessed us with an unordinary love.

I’m not a model dream come true,

Who could bring everything in the world to you.

I’m not a prince or warrior,

Just a normal boy who couldn’t love you more.
