Overwhelming desire

To reach out and touch

What cannot be held

What cannot be heard.

A burning need

To step into the flames

To unburned that pain

Unto me.

One caress

Is my only request

But to follow through

Would be an end.

The destruction of a masterpiece

Best left incomplete.

The burning pain

That is unquenched Desire

That is Love unrequited
