Amidst heavy gun fire, I hurled my newly made weapon at them- another grenade, but a little more effective.
While they are preoccupied, I race across the sky dock and try not to slide on the shiny, metallic flooring.
The docking bay is huge, but it doesn't matter. I can see the guards fall to the floor in the distance, and run to the nearest and most unprotected ship- The Rain Falcon. I set up my decoder on the hatch and prepare to hard wire it.
More guards come, and they fire at me and my ship.
I can't hurl a grenade from here, so I set up the decrena on the floor and activate it.
Immediatly, a blue force field blossoms out from the thing, and once it is large enough to protect both me AND the Rain Falcon, I loch the device. The guards are puzzled, and call for backup.
Shit, I'd better get moving.
The thing is still decoding, and the decrena is still going strong, so I pull out yet another helpful device.
The docking bay, or sky dock, is secured by one of those large garage-door-like doors, except huge, metallic, and shining with a blueish hue.
I've programed my PDA so that I can hack into their security system. Typically you'd have to get clearance from the Docking Bay General, or DBG, but I'm in the middle of a premature visit, here.
I hear the beep and click of my decoder. Cool. I pull off the decoder with one hand and hack into the system with the other. I'm in. The big door is starting to open, but it will take awhile. I imagine they closed it when they figured I'd choose this exit.
I crawl into my ship, which is red and silver, by the way, and turn on its energy shield. I start up the Rain Falcon, hop out again, grab my decrena, and hop back in again.
Without the shield, the ever-approaching guards shoot at me and my craft, but it all bounces off, thanks to this nifty energy barrier.
I hurl another grenade out the door, then close the hatch, then take off. The thing should be high enough for me to take off, now.
I maneuver the thing so that it glides under the huge door, and shoot out from under it, pulling higher and higher into the sky.
I put it on autopilot for Concordia, then check my PDA again. I think I'll close the hatch and jam their controls, and they won't be able to get any fighters out that way. Heck, I guess I might as well shut down the whole biz at once, then maybe they won't be able to get anyone out at all! There's a firewall, but *poof* it's gone, and I crash their system. Cool.
I jet off towards Concordia, a smile beginning to form on my face.
