DISCLAIMER: You guys know the drill. Just don't steal anything out of here, and there will be no problems.

A/N: I am sorry that this has taken so long. I have just had so much stuff to do, that I had totally forgotten about this piece of work. I want to thank you for your generous reviews, and I want to apologize to all of those who have waited this long for chapter two.

Diary of A Gay Boy

Chapter Two

Dear Diary,

I am sorry I haven't written in you for a while. I have had alot of things to do lately; but now that it's all over, I will have alot more time to do the things that I want to do.

First off, I recently got an e-mail from a mystery-person. Sent me a corny little , one-line poem. It is to ridiculous to even repeat. The only thing I want to know is: Who sent it? Oh well, I guess I will have to wait until he wants to tell me.

I almost blabbed that it was a guy that I liked to mom in the van yesterday. I was just too caught up in the moment to even pay attention to the words that were coming out of my mouth. BTW, Derek is FIINE!

Well, I don't mean to cut this short; but I, once again, have to get dressed and head off to school.

Until I write in you again, Hasta MaƱana!

The usual 10-minute drive to school was the same as usual. Although, one thing happened out of the ordinary; Or so I think. Before arriving at school, I could have swore that I saw a dead cat get up and walk across the street. Eh, it was more than likely my whacked up imagination playing a trick on me?

Once in the building, I found my way over to my locker. Stopping occasionally to say hi to a few of my close friends.

Finally, I arrive at locker #121. I open it up to find a yellow post-it note rolled up, and laying on top of his Chem. book.

I unravel it and read cautiously.

Daniel,

Hey, I see you didn't reply to my e-mail.

Too bad, I will try again. Meet me by

the water fountain by the 2 floor landing after during

Break.

Signed,

Anonymous.

Daniel wadded the note up and placed it carefully into his back pocket, making sure not to drop it. After doing so, he walked as quickly as he could to U.S. History. He walked in, and quickly sat in the seat near the back.

He sat down, and opened his notebook, ready to take notes. Half-way through, he got distracted and started to stare off into space.

'Who is this person?' he thought to himself. ' And how does he know me? '

All of a sudden, he was brought back into reality by the distant yells from Mrs. Bayes.

" Daniel! Daniel! If I have to say your name one more time, you are going to go and see Mr. Rowling. " She said.

" Oh, Um... sorry. It won't happen again. " Daniel assured her.

" It had better not. " She quipped, and then continued to lecture about the French Revolution.

The bell had Rang, and it was now time for break. The one period that had been nagging at the back of Daniel's head. The period that cause butterflies to do summersaults in his stomach. He didn't know what to do, he could easily stand them up; but that would be against his nature and immoral at that.

He got his next periods books while he still had time, since Chemistry was right after break. Then, ever so slowly, he had finally made his way up to the Second floor landing.

Once at the top, he saw a faint figure, facing the other way under the dim lit lights. Once hearing someone approaching, he turned around quickly.

" Hey! " The person said.

" You're that new kid, aren't you? " Daniel asked.

" Yea, the name is Derek, Derek Matthews. " He replied

" Was I suppose to meet you here? " Daniel asked politely.

" Yea, I see you got my note. " He replied once again.

" And you are the person that sent me the e-mail? " Daniel Continued.

" Yea. " Derek said.

" Why - why didn't you just come to me yourself instead of giving me hints. " Daniel asked.

" Because I wanted to make sure you were the person I thought you were first. " He responded.

" Well, if you knew I was gay, why even bother. " Daniel asked, confused.

" Like I said, I had to make sure. " he repeated.

" Well, if you knew me. You would know that I am very predictable. " he said. " Well, most of the time. "

" Well, you could have fooled me. Why not just discuss this over some pizza. After School? " Derek offered.

" Um, sure. I just have to call my mom. She usually picks me up after school.

" Well, ok. I guess it is a date then? " Derek asked, with a smile on his face.

" Yea, I guess it is. " he replied.

" See ya then. " Derek told him.

" Alright, C' ya . " With those words, Derek walked off down the hall.

A/N: Sorry, just wanted to get at least this much out there before you killed me.. I will update this part soon. Not with a new chapter.. but with more added on to this one! Give me time. I am really busy.
