Information:

The Setting: Rittleton, Missouri

An average, sleepy, small town in the Midwest. The residents are friendly and above all, considerate. They’re your average townspeople. Rittleton is the dear home of many, and close to the hearts of many people. Founded during the California Gold Rush, it’s a peaceful and very safe place to live (and has remained that way for over 160 years), and is also home to many thriving businesses. One of these businesses include Rippy’s father’s firm.

The Residents of Rittleton:

- The Slamsen Family -

Rippy - (15) A thriving poet who also happens to be the daughter of a successful (and well-known) lawyer. Yet she’s not your ordinary run in the mill small town girl. She’s not even popular. At Rittleton High School she’s the thing that students fear to face every single day and night. Rippy is a bully. And by society’s standards, an outcast. But her being a bully is only a facade, a fake mask of herself. She’s also a member of the prestigious The Power of Words poetry club that’s held at (only) Rittleton High School.

Dexter - (34) Rippy’s father who’s also a successful lawyer and a partner of a thriving law firm (which consists of four partners, including him).

Becca - (31) Rippy’s mother, the manager of Rittleton’s Sears store. She’s best friends with Libby Moore.

Albert - (15) Rippy’s best friend (they have been best friends since childhood). A thriving photographer who’s also considered an outcast by society’s standards. However, since he’s the notorious bully’s (a.k.a. Rippy) best friend, and is always defended against the Mean Blonde Possé and the rest of the school, he doesn’t get beat up. He’s the president of the school photography club.

Samuel - (35) Albert’s father. He works as an engineer at the Amtrak station in Rittleton.

Libby - (32) Albert’s mother who’s a homemaker. She’s best friends with Becca Slamsen.

The Other Residents of Rittleton:

Kayla Portier - (15) Rippy’s best girl friend (they have been best friends since childhood, also). A fun and spunky gal, she’s a member of the drama club and is Rippy’s #1 confidante (right after Albert). Kayla defends her friends whenever (and when/before they’re about to get) they get teased/threatened/beat up.

Jonah Hewett - (15) Albert’s close friend who’s the vice-president of the school photography club. He’s also Rippy’s and Kayla’s close friend.

Laura Foster - (15) A girl who indulges in the pleasure of making fun of Rippy and her friends, and generally making her life miserable.

Queline Ruiz - (15) A girl who also loves making fun of Rippy and her friends, and generally making her whole life miserable.

Leanne Maralis - (15) A girl who delights in making fun of Rippy behind her back, but acts like a chicken whenever Rippy learns of this. She’s Katherine’s older sister.

Effie Sorchez - (15) A lass who also loves gossiping and making fun of Rippy and her friends. She acts the same as Leanne whenever Rippy learns of this [the gossiping and making fun of].

Michelle Leon - (15) The same as above.

Katherine Maralis - (14) A girl who delights in making fun of Rippy and her friends. She acts like her sister whenever Rippy learns of Katherine’s making fun of her. She’s the younger sister of Leanne.

Lacey Jensen - (15) A lass who also indulges in the pleasure of making fun of Rippy and her friends. She acts like the Maralis sisters when Rippy learns of this.

Alexandra Hillis - (15) A girl who also loves making fun of Rippy and her friends.

Morley Shaw - (15) A girl who loves making fun of (more like torturing) Rippy and her friends, whenever she can. A very bratty, spoiled girl, but has the wealthiest family in all of Rittleton (her dad’s also a lawyer; he’s Dexter’s rival), and is the most popular girl in school.

Kara Dalgren - (15) Another girl who loves and takes complete joy in torturing Rippy and her friends. She has an identical twin sister, which is Karly.

Karly Dalgren - (14) Yet another girl who loves making fun of Rippy and her friends. She’s the (younger) identical twin sister of Kara.

Murray Sheroy - (15) A self-absorbed, shameless pretty boy who also loves making fun of Rippy and her crew.

The Mean Blonde Possé - A group that consists of the 11 girls (and 1 boy) mentioned above who love making fun of Rippy and her friends; it’s also the nickname that Rippy, Kayla, Albert and Jonah use when they’re alone for their tormentors.
