Medianoche-Chapter 13

A/N- HEY! I decided to put this up earlier than I wanted because I'm really bored and I have nothing else to do. This is the LAST CHAPTER. Wow it's been a long time but yeah shame on me for not getting this all up like AGES earlier. Thanks for the reviews even though I only got 2 for the last two chapters but that's kinda my fault cuz I took too long to get everything up. Well here's the last chapter. Thank you all for reading!

Kali just got off the phone with Ashley she said that they needed to have a meeting and to meet on the forests on the outskirts of town at midnight. She picked up the phone and started calling the rest of the group.

Artemis prepared herself by warming up and getting knives. She left all the knives she stole from the witches because they could turn the magic against her. She put the knives in every place that her clothes could cover. Artemis looked at herself in the mirror to see if any of them could show but none did. Why am I being so precious? she asked herself, because there's going to be a fight most likely.

That night at eleven thirty Artemis jumped into her car and started driving out of town. At that exact same moment Kali was picking up Stephanie and a few others to go to the meeting.

They all arrived at the same time. When Artemis got out of the car she said, "Kali what are you doing here?"

"I was going to ask you the same thing," Kali said.

"I'm here because one of those new guys kidnapped Tina and they told me to come here if I ever want to see her again."

"We were supposed to have a meeting...this is a trap!"

"No shit Sherlock," Artemis said.

"Figured it out?" a voice questioned. "Good now come with me." They all looked over to see one of the new guys standing there. Artemis appeared in front of him and wrapped her hands around his neck, "Where's Tina?" she asked.

"If you kill me you'll never see her," he said forcing his voice not to shake.

Artemis let go of him and glared at him. He turned and started walking deeper into the woods. Artemis had to suppress the urge to throw a knife in his back. She started following him and heard footsteps following her. "Why are you coming?" Artemis asked them.

"Because we can't get out," started Kali. Artemis stretched out her senses to find that there was a barrier surrounding the woods. She was surprised at the power of it. There was a lot of witch's power there but she could beat them, but she was happy she prepared for a fight.

It took them about ten minutes to get to a clearing in the middle of the woods. There were about forty or fifty witches and vampire hunters standing in the clearing. Kali was looking through the crowd and spotted Ashley. "Ashley what's going on why are you doing this?" she asked.

"Because all of you need to be destroyed. You are a danger to the human race-" Ashley said but was interrupted.

"Where's Tina?" asked Artemis.

"Your werewolf is fine," Ashley said as she motioned for them to bring her out. As soon as Artemis seen Tina she gasped. Tina was tied up and gagged, and she had bruises and cuts all over her.

Son of a bitches, Artemis thought. "Let her go now!" she commanded them. They threw Tina down at Artemis' feet, she knelt down and untied her and helped her stand. "I'm going to kill you all," Artemis threatened them and took out her knives and started running towards them.

The battle was on. As soon as Artemis started toward them they came at them. Kali stood there shocked at what was happening. She didn't have long to be shocked for because she had people running right at her, knives in their hands.

Artemis took out the first witch that came at her by breaking her neck. The next one that came at her had a knife, when he came within five feet of her she lifted him off the ground and sent him into a tree that had a branch sticking out of it, the force of him hitting the branch made it go right through him.

Kali was fighting off the people the best she could. She could smell blood in the air and she felt the blood lust coming but she pushed it back as another person came at her.

Artemis was laughing as she killed some more of them. Tina had gotten up and started fighting a few moments after they threw her down so Artemis didn't need to look after her. She seen the Ashley girl start going for her sister and thought, this is going to get interesting.

Kali seen Ashley as she started walking toward her. Oh no, she thought, I have to fight one of my friends. There was blood running down Ashley's face from getting a blow to the head by a fist. Kali seen this and almost started running away from her. She could barely control herself from going over and sucking the witch dry.

"Ashley," Kali chocked out, "please go away." Ashley smiled and kept coming toward her. Artemis heard all of this and laughed, Ashley was going to die because of her stupidity. She could see the blood lust in Kali's eyes.

Kali watched Ashley as if she was in slow motion. When Ashley started to take out her knife, Kali snapped out of it. She grabbed Ashley's arm before the knife reached her and made her drop the knife. Ashley watched as the knife dropped to the ground.

The moment Ashley wasn't looking at Kali she attacked. She went straight for the throat. Her fangs sunk into her flesh. Ashley froze for a few seconds, and then started to struggle. "Struggling won't help," Kali said into her mind. Ashley struggled more when she said this but then she started getting weaker and her vision had spots in it, then it went black.

Kali dropped Ashley's lifeless body to the ground. She looked shocked at what she had done. "Oh my God," she whispered, "I killed her."

"Good job sis!" Artemis said.

"No! Not good job Artemis! I just killed her!" Kali yelled.

"She was going to kill you, it was self-defense." Kali was quiet. She looked around. Everyone from the other side was dead.

"Kali, we must leave. The police will be here soon..."

"Okay," Kali said in a daze.

Artemis led her and Tina out of the woods and to the car. Artemis climbed into the drivers seat while Kali climbed into the passenger seat and Tina in the back. Artemis started the car and drove out of the woods and to the highway as fast as possible. "We're going away, we're going to go some where were we can live and not be killed," she said. "We'll be fine, you'll see."

Kali just stared out the window and didn't say anything and she thought, Yeah everything will be ok...eventually.
