Directed towards me

The moment I saw your face, your joyous smile, I really thought Id run a mile. My heart quickened my breath stopped; I smiled back oblivious to my loss. I didn't know that what I saw wasn't the same as what I thought. It wasn't for me but it still affected me, if only it was directed towards me.

If you knew the thoughts I had of you, you may of thought differently Before you unknowingly hurt me, if I had only said what was on my mind. I would stop looking behind, to see if you are following me, to maybe say you're sorry. But it's not true, you don't have a clue, of the pain I've felt of the things I've thought. All Because of you.

If I could go back to change the things that went wrong, I really wouldn't change a Thing. Because either way you'd go astray, and leave me before long. Now it seems strange for me to greave something I never had, but as long as I live, as Long As I see, those thoughts about you will never truly leave me.

If only it was directed towards me, it would all be differently, I might be with you, Having The time of my life, but sadly no its not like that, I have no one to be with me. I Don't blame you, or anything you do, because it's not your fault, the blames on me, Because I didn't see the inevitability, of all that's come to pass.

Within the time, that I knew you my life was never that sad, it had ups and downs, but I Never frowned, because in the end I still had you to smile and refresh my mind. If only It was directed towards me. Things would of been differently, but oh well, its not as bad as Hell, my time is now spent waiting for me to end this pain and agony that will forever plague me, until I see you place your smile upon me. So I know that it can be true that there can be me and you. If only it was directed towards me.
