'Sen'
Aloft float slouching skies,
Graceful, effortless a'fore my eyes
Reclining calmly, I ponder,
Most confusedly, a far off wonder,
Words from me evade,
All knowledge but a mere façade,
Oh lotus! Oh billowy flora!
Sweet scented thy aroma.
Your silken myriad of petals so lush,
Pliant and oh so soft to the touch.
So far away you are,
An unreachable star.
The impossible dream,
That reality cannot redeem.
The truth so miserable,
To see eyes level, unable,
To hold thy graceful palms quivering not,
Fantasized all for naught.
To dream, so arduous,
Enough so soul is callous.
With clenched eyes I lament with sorrow,
Loosing tears, I fear tomorrow.
Fearing meekly facing reality yet again,
Without Sen.
