Rivers of blood, rushing down,

To meet their fate as I stare,

Blindly, blankly, to the invisible

Demons that haunt my life,

My vision faded and blurred

As I disappear into the dark,

My ghosts are silenced as

I am calmed and death is

All.

The screams have stopped, there

Is only silence where I am now,

Just the silence of those others

Before me who gave in to the

Gleam of the knife or the dry

Taste of the pills, or the feeling

Of succeeding as your breath

Is slowed and stopped. It's all

Over.

The silence of death isn't that

Bad once you get used to it. It's

Calming in a way, it's just my

Escape from reality...But this is

One trip you can't get back from.

All my hate has disappeared,

Gone are all my worries and my

Fears have vanished...Now theres

Nothing.
