The raindrops of life Awaken my senses, Bursting and blooming Throughout the green wonderland.

Tears of the sky, Glittering, oh so wonderfully. It is a gift from the gods- Jewels of substance Sent down from the stormy skies To quench the thirst Of earth below.

Missionaries / mercernaries Bringing bounty and joy As the tears Trickle down buildings, Nestle in flower beds And still after all the confusion A rainbow arches over the world.

And the mighty, roaring, thunder Rolls to a gloomy halt- Making way for the sun Through the clouds Showering the earth with golden rays.
