These two poems are written by my dear grandmother. She was going to come to live with my parents and me, but because of the old age the trip was canceled.

斯人耄年,

翘望孙女归.

不若自筹款,

飞过太平洋.

The following is a poem she wrote 5 years ago in a trip to a lake. There is a bridge on the lake that has nine bends, called 九曲桥. (She has a habit of putting her age in the first line of the poem. ^^)

斯人七十六,

近似八十岁.

集群游东湖,

健笑荡九曲.

Pear, in memory of her grandparents who are currently an ocean away.
