They put us on a train,
Going nowhere.
They caused us lots of pain,
Shaved off all our hair.
They gave us little to eat,
Hoped that we would die.
They took us out to beat,
Left us wondering why.
We lived in fear,
Day in and day out.
They lined us up,
Just so they could shout.
They made us do hard work,
And they just stood by.
They would smirk,
As we would cry.
They killed our people one by one,
Or en masse.
Sometimes they'd use a gun,
And sometimes gas.
All of us were slated to die,
Not that that was news.
And do you know why?
Because they were Germans,
And we were Jews.
