"Neverdying Love"

By: Shinga

Rated: PG-13 for a rather morbid theme

Disclaimer: Mine. :P

A/N: Just a poem from the POV of an immortal, probably a vampire, who killed his/her own lover and can't survive without them, then going into the grave with them to sleep. It's not really all that good, but... for a three-minute out-of-nowhere poem it could be worse.

****

I run to you
I see
The way the world turned so cold
I sleep in you
I dream
Of the fever your touch flares in me
I dance through you
I sing
About angels watching over saints
I drink of you
I cry
When I see how I drain your life away
I mourn for you
I die
As soon as your soul disappears
I dream of you
I long
For a day in the ground with you
I kill for you
I scream
Begging a god who won't listen
I lie with you
I sleep
Forever alive I sleep in your grave
I breathe of you
I waste
I will never die, but with you I'll pretend
