Death is seductive in itself,

A release from life,

From all the hate and pain,

It's eternal freedom.

Death will be my savior,

It will save me from myself,

From these thoughts I do not want,

From a life I never craved.

Death taunts me in my sleep,

Showing me what I could have,

What I keep turning my back on,

What I keep running away from.

Death is always within my grasp,

Staring me in the eyes,

Pulling me further and further,

Into its loving embrace.

Death is like a friend,

Who comforts you when you're down,

Who wipes away your tears,

And helps block out the pain.
