Stupid clowns
Look at them scattering themselves on the circus floor
Jumping, smiling, running here and there
Always motioning their idiotic cartoonic display
The crowd cheers on as the clowns make fools of themselves
With bombs, flowers, magic tricks and more
Even some high-flying acts
People would love to see and adore
They provide relief and amusement
To the little kiddies and folks in town
They're funny, mischievous, clumsy and sweet
They're here to make lots of money and lots of treats
The circus show is over, time for work
The red bouncy clown unties his shoe and frowns
Though it doesn't show on his laughing mask
His thoughts are readable and understood by quite a sum
Out of the stupid outfit and in to a less attractive attire
Preparing to strike at the most opportunite hour
Ruthless, agile and wild they were
Friendly, clumsy and sweet no longer
Battle's over, they got their pay
Now it's another show for another day
Another cheer to greet their way, another drumroll useless and loud
Another laughing mask to face the crowd
And the show goes on just like as planned
Before all is over and they have to travel the distance by train
Till shadows come to greet them once again
These clowns will chuckle, smile and laugh to the very end
Stupid clowns.
